Testicular germ cell cancer

- Non-Seminomatous Testicular Cancer - A report from the Kaiser Franz Josef Hospital, Vienna, Austria,
described adjuvant therapy with two courses of cisplatin,
etoposide and bleomycin as an effective treatment for patients
with non-seminomatous testicular cancer. Twenty-nine patients
were followed up of 42 treated for clinical stage I disease, but
who had a high risk of relapse because tumor had invaded the
blood vessels. No significant adverse effects were seen within a
median follow-up time of over six years. (Pont, J Clin Oncol
