Biological Effects of Nonionizing Electromagnetic Radiation (BENER) Digest Update An historial summary of research on power line, VDT, radar, and microwave biological and health effects with Instant Access to Current Literature. Information Ventures, Inc. (IVI) published BENER Digest Update, quarterly from 1991 through 2002. BENER Digest Update was a current awareness journal which summarized and documented the results of key biological effects research studies published in a broad spectrum of professional journals, books and reports. It was the only print publication to regularly survey the world's literature on EMF bioeffects, including research that directly relates to possible adverse health effects from EMF exposure. In-depth, original abstracts provided detailed experimental results and multidisciplinary interpretation. Full bibliographic references plus author and subject indexes helped the reader maintain a current overview of this expanding field. The Digest also featured original articles on EMF biological effects. Ongoing research, meeting abstracts, and summaries of popular-press news articles were included as well.
