Summary

In order to study the effects of EMF on calcium ion flux, a group of Japanese researchers exposed rat thymocytes, splenocytes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes to linearly and circularly polarized 50-Hz magnetic fields (0.1 or 5 mT) and looked at changes in intracellular Ca++ concentration. Their results are presented and discussed here. [one page, 2 references].
