The Connecticut Interagency EMF Task Force is committed to following the EMF issue and has provided updates to the General Assembly on an annual basis since 1992. As new compelling evidence emerges or as studies begin to reduce the levels of uncertainty, the Task Force will consider the information and incorporate the implications into the current policy.
The Task Force and Advisory Committee will meet after the June 1995 Bioelectromagnetics Society meeting in Boston has taken place and also towards the end of 1995 or as necessary. DPHAS, DEP, and the other interagency members will continue to respond to public inquiries about EMF and will provide EMF Issues, an informational brochure on several of the myriad issues surrounding the EMF controversy.
