Health Promotion and Education
The art and science of health promotion and
education is based on biological, environmental, behavioral, social,
and medical sciences and uses these disciplines to positively impact
and shape the health status of individuals, communities, and
society. The advancement of the public’s health through health
promotion and education is achieved through research, advocacy, and
effective dissemination of information. IVI contributes to this
effort by updating and maintaining databases on health promotion and
education, cancer prevention and control, epilepsy education, and
prenatal smoking cessation, and through continued involvement in the
development of the Prevention Evaluation Research Registry for Youth
(PERRY).
IVI is skilled in helping our clients to assess,
synthesize, disseminate, and present information in a manageable,
user-friendly manner.
