BIOLOGICAL MONITORING OF WORKERS EXPOSED TO N,N-DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE. I. METHODS OF ANALYSIS
Several methods for the detection of the organic solvent N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and its metabolites in urine were tested and described. Workers in a synthetic leather factory provided urine samples for analysis. Workers who had not been exposed to DMF provided samples as controls. The levels of the compounds were determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
