International Occupational Safety and Health
- Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety
The Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety, IFCS or the FORUM, was created by the International Conference on Chemical Safety held in Stockholm in April 1994. WHO serves as the administering agency for the FORUM and its secretariat. The FORUM is a non-institutional arrangement whereby representatives of governments meet together with intergovernmental and non governmental organizations with the aim to integrate and consolidate national and international efforts to promote chemical safety.
- European Agency for Safety and Health at Work
The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (the Agency) was set up by the European Union in order to serve the information needs of people with an interest in occupational safety and health. The Agency started work in 1996 and is based in Bilbao, Spain. The Agency's objective as set out in the founding Regulation is "in order to encourage improvements in the working environment, the Agency shall provide the Community bodies, the Member States and those involved in health and safety at work with the technical, scientific and economic information of use in the field of safety and health at work." The Agency co-ordinates since 1997 a network with Focal Points in each Member State of the Union. The Agency co-operates also with many International Organisations and with safety and health administrations and interested parties world-wide.
- International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre
The International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre (CIS) is a service of the International Labour Office in Geneva, Switzerland. It was established in 1959 with the aim of collecting all relevant information about occupational safety and health (OSH) being published around the world, whatever the format and the language. It has maintained a continuous, bilingual (English and French), high-quality database ever since. CIS has publishea a full-text information providing practical information on OSH matters, and it continues to furnish general information on OSH topics in the form of personalized database searches.
- Israeli Site For Safety and Health at Work
This site is maintained by the Israel Institute for Occupational Safety and Hygiene (IIOSH). It contains various sections and activities: Electronic Library, Electronic Edition of "Safety at Work" Magazine, News Bulletin, Specialists' Forum, Discussion Group, Annotated List of OSH Sites Worldwide, and more. Almost all of the site's content is in Hebrew.
- NIOSH SafetyNet - Malaysia
NIOSH SafetyNet is an on-line information service provided by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Malaysia. NIOSH is the centre for training, consultancy, dissemination information and research in occupational safety and health in Malaysia.
