At Information Ventures, Inc. (IVI) we take your privacy very seriously. What information do we collect and how do we use it?

All personally identifiable information we collect is through voluntary submissions of our users. Information we collect from our Web logs when you access a specific page on our site does not personally identify you. IVI automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, cookie information, and the page you visited. Our Web server does log your IP address in standard server logs. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. None of the statistics reported includes personal information about any visitor to our site.

Does IVI Place Cookies on My Computer?

“Cookies” are small text files a Web site uses to recognize repeat users and facilitate the user's ongoing use of the site. Cookies also allow a site to track traffic statistics, usage behavior and compile usage information that will allow for the improvement of content. IVI does not currently collect non-personally identifiable information and data through the use of cookies, though we reserve the option to do so in the future.

With whom does IVI share the information it gathers and tracks?

IVI does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not share information with other organizations for marketing purposes. Information we collect may be used by IVI to contact consumers for our own marketing endeavors. If we do use mailing lists for advertising or promotional purposes, we will always have a clear mechanism for you to remove yourself from future mailings.
